However, do you know the stories of the men who built and shaped the seminary? Our story is worth telling! Join us for a ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï History Tour of the historic Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville!

• The tours will run from 10:00am – 12:00pm.
• Meet at the Charleston Room at 10am and depart from there to the cemetery.
• Stop at 6 locations including 3 ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï plots as well as other individuals tied to the history of the SBC and ÍøÆسԹÏ.
• Open to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The tours are FREE and will be capped at ten people.

In 1937, the Ohio River flooded the city of Louisville and caused massive devastation. Southern Seminary was on high ground, and thus had a unique position to help, rowing out in boats to help stranded people, housing individuals on campus, and even providing temporary office space for the mayor. In honor of that historic event, every year Southern Seminary serves the city of Louisville through the .
